Hello and welcome to a Job Well Done Handyman Service. Aside from being the owner, I am a Senior IT Business Analyst by day and a consummate DIYer and perfectionist all other times. As a homeowner of over 20 years, I can relate to the frequent inability to find honest and reliable service workers to do the occasional repairs and home improvements I wanted and sometimes needed to have done. Most of which was well within my skillset. As a result of always having been extra handy, I gradually took to completing nearly all of my own projects myself and have been much happier over the years for having done so. Over the past 10 years, I’ve taken on and have successfully completed many small to monumental sized DIY projects ranging from installing an occasional ceiling fan or lighting fixture, to actually building a tiny home which involved framing, insulating, plumbing, flooring, window installations and all finish work. Those who know me personally will attest to the quality of my work.
Apart from what I’ve shared above, you may ask, what distinguishes my handyman service from other local handyman service providers popping up throughout the valley?

Although I am happy to travel throughout the Phoenix Metropolitan Area to provide service, I primarily service the following listed cities:

If your city is not listed, that does not mean that I won’t consider the work. It only means that you will have to contact me directly to answer a question or two to help me make that determination.

Pricing
Formal estimates are generally provided within 48 hrs. of any initial work assessment. Estimates are “binding” meaning that the actual repair costs will never exceed the estimated written quote. With Job Well Done Handyman Service, you can count on never being startled by hidden or surprise charges as you might with other service providers. Also, estimates are comprehensive and itemized, breaking out the cost of materials (per item) apart from the cost of labor. And where multiple repairs are completed, the estimated cost of labor is also broken-out by each individual repair. So unlike other service providers that give you one estimated cost, not in writing, with no transparency into the estimate, JWD Handyman Service makes certain you understand exactly how the estimate was calculated. This is something very few service providers are willing to do.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date given. Beyond 30 days, price estimates may change.
Lastly, all in-person estimates are subject to a $20 “service-call” fee payable prior to the completion of the estimate. For repeat customers, trip fees are generally waived in appreciation for your continued support.

Below are just a few examples of completed projects showcasing our quality workmanship and attention to detail.
This “after” picture reflects a newly created accent wall with white moulding, newly installed flooring, baseboards, USB-C electrical outlets, wall light switch plate, and ceiling fan for a completed room makeover.

This “after” picture reflects the removal of a brick fireplace, replaced with an IKEA shelving unit fashioned into bench seating with hinged lids for storage. The bench seating, leather backrests and seat cushions were all hand-crafted by myself. Also installed was new recessed and pendant lighting fixtures, and ceiling fan.

As such, our work is guaranteed for up to one year from the date of invoice during which time JWD Handyman Service will repair, free of charge, any defects in workmanship performed based on the either our formal estimate or the terms of the agreement.
